Newt Woos Washington State Voters With Presentations in Olympia, Federal Way, and Everett

(Bright Citizen) Newt Gingrich impressed Washingtonians clearly laying out why America was weakening under Barak Obama.

The meeting in Federal Way Washington went into overflow.  Two buses of campaign staff arrived at a local for a meeting in the conference room.  The air was filled with electricity as the standing room only venue listened intently to what Newt had to say.

Newt encouraged everyone to get to caucus on 3 March as well as tweet or Facebook immediately that ‘a vote for Newt is a vote for gasoline at $2.50 a gallon’.

The meeting was the first time the Puget Sound area outside of Seattle has seen a presidential candidate in person.

Maybe a little competition is a good thing.20120224-152259.jpg

Facebook and social networking

Many ask me of Facebook will continue. The answer is who knows. It is very clear that busy people don’t truly use it or spend time on it like they used to.
When I see people always logged into Facebook (online) I wonder, are they engaged with the people that surround them at that time?
Don’t let social networking rob you of time, money, or life. You’ve probably got 70-120 years to live- read a book, take a walk with the spouse, throw a ball around with you kids. Do let life pass you by

Is Madonna Ready For Retirement From Live Entertainment?

Madonna Ciccone AKA 1990s pop star Madonna performed for the 2012 Superbowl Half-time show.  For a fifty something, she looked good but her age showed despite her well-known effort to remain physically fit.  In the Halftime show we noticed a few things.

  • Her twists and turns and dancing were slow and conservative.
  • Her singing was indistinguishable
  • Her supporting cast showed more youth and energy in the performance.

Conclusion, probably time for Ms. Ciccone to start turning down those requests to perform in front of such a large and diverse audience.

It would seem that Lady Gaga may have taken her crown for provocative and music and video on fluttering on the edge of immoral.

What do you think?

Isn’t this the kind of person companies want to hire?

Fired for working through a lunch break?  I think HR departments are looking for this type of person.

Sharon Smiley had worked for 10 years as a receptionist and administrative assistant at a Chicago real estate company until she was fired for skipping lunch one day. After a two-year battle, an appeals court in Illinois has found that denial of her unemployment benefits was “clearly erroneous.”

Smiley, 48, punched out of work for lunch Jan. 28, 2010, but remained at her desk to finish a project assigned by a manager because she did not plan to eat that day, she said.

Smiley, who had passed her 10-year anniversary with the company more than a month before, said another manager told her it was time for her to go to lunch and step away from her desk, but she refused. That manager observed Smiley working on a spreadsheet on her computer, answering the phone and responding to questions by people who approached her desk, according to a filing from the appellate court of Illinois.

Obama Starts To Really Go To Church- Well, At Least Get Involved In Their Affairs

(BrightCitizen.com)  Many conservatives are convinced that Barak Obama is America’s worst president.  Based on approval rating among democrats and republicans, this may be true.  Hollywood personalities with their mixed up lives and efforts to buck society in general tends to love democratic politicians. However, even Matt Damon’s support for Barak Obama has gone down the tube.

Barak recognized it and did the unpresidential thing of responding to Damon’s comments on him by criticizing his acting in a recent movie at last year’s press correspondents dinner.

For some reason, Obama doesn’t mind seeing the US dwindle in power and influence in the world.  However, he does want to control people in what many call a move towards socialism or event communism.

Recently, the Department of Justice under Obama tried to tell a church that they had no right to dismiss ministers that did not follow their beliefs.  The supreme court responded directly and succinctly addressing this hypocrisy

But, Chief Justice Roberts pushed back hard, telling the government essentially to butt out:

“Requiring a church to accept or retain an unwanted minister, or punishing a church for failing to do so, intrudes upon more than a mere employment decision. Such action interferes with the internal governance of the church, depriving the church of control over the selection of those who will personify its beliefs. By imposing an unwanted minister, the state infringes the free exercise clause, which protects a religious group’s right to shape its own faith and mission through its appointments. According the state the power to determine which individuals will minister to the faithful also violates the establishment clause, which prohibits government involvement in such ecclesiastical decisions.”

One wonders why Obama could be such a weakling when it comes to world influence and international relations that affects the success of US business to a tyrant on trying to tell a church how they should hire.

Talk About Clueless Government, Iran Needs A Competent PR Firm

(BrightCitizen.com)  If you follow international news, you are probably amazed at the bumbling Iranian government.  Clearly the US under Barak Obama missed an opportunity to support it’s people that apparently voted their tyrannical ‘president’ down only to be subjected to a harsh crackdown by their police.  This was all despite thousands protesting doctored election results in July 2009.  Protests were met by the Basij paramilitary police chasing, beating, and killing their own unarmed countrymen.

If you don’t deal with a problem, it will likely come back.  Here comes the Iranian military running around in boats with handguns and short-barrelled rifles pointed around the boats.  Who are they going to scare?  Yes, they do have missiles and have threatened to nuke Israel.  Someone has to deal with the problem.
