Mitt Romney nominated for US President, Readies To Beat Obama

(BrightCitizen.com)  Mitt Romney is on his way to replacing Barak Hussein Obama, America’s worst performing president since Jimmy Carter.  Many questions remain about Obama’s past and why money has been spent to hide his past performance/attendance on the universities in his resume.  There are no questions about Mr. Romney.

Mitt Romney introduced himself to the nation Thursday night in Tampa, showing a personal side the leading American entrepreneur and former governor of Massachusetts.

Megadeth Band Lead Singer Dave Mustaine Ready To Throw Out Obama

MegaDeth’s lead singer Dave Mustaine has got the US public thinking.  At the Band’s concert in Singapore, Mustaine shared with his fans, his belief that the Aorora Movie theatre shootings, the Sikh shootings and how he sees this as an effort to take control of Americans and their freedoms.  He is not the only person to express this belief.

“My president,” Mustaine began, before pausing to pantomime gagging, “is trying to pass a gun ban, so he’s staging all of these murders, like the Fast and Furious thing down at the border, you know, Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there. And now the beautiful people at the Sikh temple.”

US Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney Picks Go Getter As Vice Presidential Candidate

(BrightCitizen.com)  Before the left-wing media could begin attacking the unknown, Mitt Romney discreetly announced his pick for US Vice President.  Now these sources are looking for things to fault Mr. Paul Ryan on.

From the American perspective, he’s the model citizen who has worked his ways up the ranks and proven extremely effective in communicating what the majority of Americans want- A strong country made up of people who are willing to work hard to be successful.

Children Raised In Same Sex Homosexual Homes Have a Higher Chance Of Failing In Life

(BrightCitizen.com) We hear a lot of talk about homosexual rights in the United States recently despite the fact that people living homosexual lifestyles account for only around 1% of the US population.  Much work is being done to try to justify the lifestyle as something people are born with as well as the promotion of physical relationships between members of the same sex.  Some studies have claimed that children raised by homosexuals are going to be just as ‘normal’ as children raised by their fathers and mothers.  A recently study has claimed that there just isn’t enough data to prove that.

A recent study summarized the most recent results.  Dr. Mark Regnerus, Associate Professor at the University of Texas, compared thousands of young adults (ages 18-39) who were raised in different types of family arrangements. You can read that study here.

Those who knew that their mothers had had a lesbian relationship fared significantly worse on measures of educational attainment and household income, reported more depression, used marijuana more, more often reported forced sexual encounters, felt less close to their biological mother, felt less safe and secure in their family of origin, had more often pled guilty to a minor criminal offense and were more likely to be on public assistance.

Those who knew their fathers had had a gay relationship were more likely to have been arrested, to have thought recently about suicide, to feel depressed, to report sexually transmitted diseases and to have experienced forced sex.

Twenty-three percent of young adults who knew their mother to have had a gay relationship reported being forced to have sexual contact with a parent or adult caregiver, while only 2 percent of intact families with a mother and father reported such contact.  For female young adults, that figure leapt to 31 percent (while only 3 percent of young women from intact heterosexual families reported this).

In saying that the children of parents who were known to have engaged in homosexual relationships reported these increased rates of suffering, it is important to note that the rates were higher for these children (now young adults) than for children in intact families with two biological parents, children whose parents divorced late in life, children who were raised with a step-parent in the home, children raised by a single parent and children adopted by strangers.

The results are shocking.  Why is that?  It could be partially because the current President of the United  States seems to promote his view on homosexual people ‘marrying’ over trying to fix the broken economy he presides over.

NAACP Shows It’s True Colors, Partisonship

(BrightCitizen.com) As African-Americans, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is seen as founded to help eliminate the segregation and discrimination against African-Americans, blacks.  The majority of blacks in the United States are strongly against ‘Gay Marriage’ according to the polls.

Is the NAACP is biased and partitioned towards one party or are they trying to represent African Americans?  The news reports say,

The NAACP announced Saturday the 103-year-old black civil rights group is supporting same-sex marriage.

The group’s board of directors made the decision at a meeting this weekend, saying it was a “continuation of its historic commitment to equal protection under the law.”

The decision follows President Obama’s recent support of gay marriage, a move that threatened to divide key parts of the Democratic voting base — the gay and black communities.

Why The US Government Should Not Be Doing Job Programs

(BrightCitizen.com)  We all know it.  The government can not manage things well, or even efficiently.  One of our senators commissioned a study and found out what has been done with some $18B of taxpayer money that has been set aside for ‘job programs’ which Barak Obama said was his highest priority (to solicit votes no doubt).

The 2011 Government Accountability Office study he [Sen. Tom Coburn] commissioned, which examined programs in fiscal year 2009, found an overlapping and duplicative maze of 47 federal jobs programs run by nine agencies. Some were rife with mismanagement, waste, fraud, abuse and corruption.

The study found:

  • Some job training participants spent their days sitting on a bus.
  • Some were trained for jobs that didn’t exist.
  • Others were paid to sit through educational sessions about jobs they already had.
  • High school students were knowingly exposed to the cancer-causing agent asbestos as part of a job training program.
  • Funds were misspent to pay a contractor for ghost employees and to purchase video games.
  • Job training administrators spent federal funds on extravagant meals and bonuses for themselves.
  • In one state, workforce agency employees took more than 100 gambling trips to casinos mostly during work hours

Good cop, bad cop Barak Obama and Joe Biden

(BrightCitizen.com)  As the former Delaware senator, and know Vice President of the United States, is known as a loose canon what a perfect person to use to make a statement.

“I am absolutely comfortable with the fact that men marrying men, women marrying women and heterosexual men and women marrying are entitled to the same exact rights, all the civil rights, all the civil liberties,” he said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “And quite frankly, I don’t see much of a distinction beyond that.”

Biden went on to say the situation is “evolving” and that the “social culture” is changing. In doing so, he cited the hit sitcom “Will & Grace,” which was about a woman living with a gay man. “I think ‘Will & Grace’ probably did more to educate the American public than almost anything anybody’s ever done so far,” he said.

Quoted here.  Clearly Obama is very much a leftist by American standards.  Will he say that he supports gay marriage?  Probably not until after he gets elected.

Accommodating The Enemy, Dealing With Terrorists

(BrightCitizen.com)  They plotted to kill not soldiers, but civilians of the United States of America.  There is no remorse, if released many have said they’ll do it again.  So what do the misguided leaders of the Obama administration do?  They put these murderers on trial.  Trial is not usually a way you deal with your enemy who wants to kill you.

To make matters worse, political correctness has weakened the United States.  Must we even dress like the enemy and talk like the enemy?  The media reports

The defense attorney who wore a traditional Islamic outfit during the rowdy arraignment of the accused Sept. 11 terrorists is defending her courtroom appeal that other women in the room wear more “appropriate” clothing to the proceedings — out of respect for her client’s Muslim beliefs.

Cheryl Bormann, counsel for defendant Walid bin Attash, attended the arraignment Saturday dressed in a hijab, apparently because her client insisted on it. She further requested that the court order other women to follow that example so that the defendants do not have to avert their eyes “for fear of committing a sin under their faith.”

Americans might as well give they freedom away now.  They are so busy trying to give freedom away, their freedom has enslaved them.

Campaigner And Chief Obama Makes Issue Out of Student Loan Non-issue For Campaign

(BrightCitizen.com)  Campaigner and chief Barry Hussein Obama has decided to make a issue out of the soon to come interest rate increase for student loans.  The problem, the democrats were the ones who engineered the rate increase.

The Republicans agree with delaying the interest rate increases.  So why is Obama campaigning… or as he says, ‘consulting with Students’ in face to face visits at three universities?  He apparently needs something to demonize his Republican opponents.     The problem is actually both parties agree on the issue.

As one famous lawyer said, “I feel Obama has gone from campaigner and chief, to Chief Deceiver”.  Are there any American people ignorant enough to fall for Obama’s blatant deception?  We’ll soon find out.

The Truth About Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman

(BrightCitizen.com)  The media has doctored recordings, the usual social deviants Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson (mail order ministers that masquerade as Jesus followers but do other things behind the scenes) have worked had to stoke the racial fires, and much of the United States has focused on an isolated shooting in Florida drawing lots of prejudice.  Even the campaigner and chief Barak Obama has claimed the Black American as his son.

History is always the best way to see the hearts of people. One media company did extension research on George Zimmerman to try to put together a background on the overblown event and reported here.  What were their conclusions?

-If Zimmerman were a racist, why would he have partnered in an Allstate Insurance business with his black friend.

-Zimmerman’s also comes of African descent through his Afro-Peruvian great grandfather

-Black youth just like Trayvon Martin had been burglarizing the neighborhood and no one is sure if Williams was one of the thieves or not.

-The media has blown Zimmerman’s history with the police out of proportion when he pushed an undercover plainclothes police officer away from an underage drinker in a bar.

Clearly, all parties need to tone down the hype and focus on letting the justice system work it’s course.  The big question at BrightCitizen is if Martin was one of the thieves in the neighborhood or truly the innocent youth walking with the skittles and drink.

It was revealed today that Sabrina Fulton, the boy’s mother, filed two petitions last week to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to specifically gain the rights to the phrases ‘I Am Trayvon’ and ‘Justice For Trayvon’, both of which have been frequently used by protesters across the country.

The trademark application shows that she is specifically looking for control of the use of those phrases on CDs and DVDs that feature her deceased son.
