We Are Not Voting For A Person

This post was brilliantly written by one of the commentors on BrightCitizen.com. Enjoy!

The flag of the United States of America

Soon, it will be over. The U.S. presidential election, I mean. Not the end of the world. But maybe the end of our nation as we have known it.
No. I will not be voting for Biden…. I am not voting for a man. At this point, I am voting for one thing and one thing only. I am voting for the principles for which this country has stood since its founding.

I am voting for Constitutional government. I am voting for a strong and viable military. I am voting for a vibrant economy. I am voting for the right to keep and bear arms. I am voting for the freedom to worship. I am voting for a national recognition of the founding of our nation on Biblical principles.

I am voting for the ability for anyone to rise above their circumstances and become successful. I am voting for my children and grandchildren to be able to choose their own path in life, including how and where their children are educated.

I am voting for our borders to be open to everyone who enters under our law and closed to everyone who would circumvent or ignore the law. I am voting for the Electoral College to remain in place, so that a few heavily populated liberal centers do not control the elections.

I am voting for a Supreme Court that interprets the Constitution rather than rewrites it. I am voting to teach history, with all its warts, not erase it or revise it. I am voting for the sanctity of life from conception to birth and after.

There are some things I am voting against.

We are not voting for a person, we are voting for principles and the party that has them.

Not so presidential debate

Trump Biden Debate

Really disappointing event. CNN are potty mouths. Trump talked over too much but Biden reciprocated (in fact he started it).

Biden kept calling Trump a liar but didn’t address his unethical ‘pay to play’ family activities or what he actually did in 47 years in politics. Seems like Biden has no plans of his own, you would gather from tonight. If Trump let him talk more we would better see his mental fitness to stand for office. Moderator didn’t ask the same questions of both sides.

After being on the receiving end of attacks since his election (nearly dour years ago!), Trump must be pretty tired of all the fake investigations, nonsensical impeachment attempts, and media hit jobs. His ‘fake news’ labeling probably didn’t help that. But guessing that is his frustration this time around. How many business professionals would want to sit there while someone calls you a liar or cheat..

Wouldn’t watch a second one.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg- The Blood is On Her Hands

A Blessing?

As the world proclaims the ‘praises’ of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a successful Jewish woman jurist in the United States, others mourn the deaths of millions. Estimates are 30M children that have been lost by the abortion laws Ms. Ginsburg promoted.

Sadly, beyond getting women equal treatment that they deserve; she was not a blessing, nor is she resting in peace. The blood of the children are on her hands. Although tragic, it is highly unlikely that those who look forward to meeting Father God in Heaven will see Ruth Ginsburg again. The former US Supreme Court Justice will be judged for her actions on earth just as the rest of us will. How will she be judged by the Almighty God?

Would you line up at an Apple Store?

Apples retail store in Tokyo’s Ginza District

Apple, currently the most valuable company in the world has stores around the globe. In Japan alone they must have 12.

You can buy their stuff anywhere. Would you line up to get into their store? These people in Tokyo’s Ginza district are.

The Secret is Out! Indian Restaurant Discovered in Tokyo! Japan TV

Indian Restaurant that was on TV gets a long line

Get on TV in Japan and you’ve got instant crowds

In Japan, if you can get on TV, for those who still watch it, you will peak interest in you or your product. Costco Japan is not particularly interesting but all the TV exposure has given them a lot of foot traffic and sales. The (bad) news is one of our favorite restaurants was highlighted in a local TV show Saturday night. That means lines of people.

Here an Indian restaurant, Andhra Kitchen, that has existed for years in Tokyo (between Ginza and Kyobashi) got on TV. The result? A line 40 people deep for lunch before opening, on a back street. interestingly enough. All those in line were locals. Bet the owner is happy! (He’s a former software guy who opened a couple restaurants in Tokyo). That location should be busy for weeks to come. But what about his other restaurant?

Same restaurant, different place, no line

Joe Biden Wrongly Says Over 220M Americans Dead of COVID-19

A Screen Shot of Sleepy Joe Biden

Back in June, political swamp dweller Joe Biden wrongly claimed that 120M Americans died of Wuhan Corona Virus (AKA COVID-19). This month, Biden claims,

“If Donald Trump has his way, the complications from COVID-19, which are well beyond what they should be — it’s estimated that 200 million people have died — probably by the time I finish this talk,” he said during a campaign speech.

It is a scary thing to consider putting an elderly man with degenerative aging issues into political office again. As it went from 120M to 200M deaths in is mind, it is very concerning, especially when the true number is around 200,000 Americans. Most of whom had pre-existing conditions. But like a long-term political swap dweller, even in his mental degeneration, his exaggerations continue and get worse.

The Nanny Watch

Latest Apple Watch update version 7

Wow! Just what everyone wanted, an automatic hand washing detector! A nanny on your wrist. Maybe a feature better for parents with their kids?

Apple Is Now Channeling Rolex

The new Apple Watch Series 6 was announced today. Not too different from the Apple Watch Series 5… or Apple Watch Series 4, for that matter.

They’ve got many new faces that seem to channel (mimick) Rolex sport watches such as the Submariner, Explorer, and even the GMT Master with that ‘new’ face.

Watching a piece of the video announcement makes one wonder, are we running short of creativity here?
