Not so presidential debate

Trump Biden Debate

Really disappointing event. CNN are potty mouths. Trump talked over too much but Biden reciprocated (in fact he started it).

Biden kept calling Trump a liar but didn’t address his unethical ‘pay to play’ family activities or what he actually did in 47 years in politics. Seems like Biden has no plans of his own, you would gather from tonight. If Trump let him talk more we would better see his mental fitness to stand for office. Moderator didn’t ask the same questions of both sides.

After being on the receiving end of attacks since his election (nearly dour years ago!), Trump must be pretty tired of all the fake investigations, nonsensical impeachment attempts, and media hit jobs. His ‘fake news’ labeling probably didn’t help that. But guessing that is his frustration this time around. How many business professionals would want to sit there while someone calls you a liar or cheat..

Wouldn’t watch a second one.

  1. Soon, it will be over. The U.S. presidential election, I mean. Not the end of the world. But maybe the end of our nation as we have known it.
No. I will not be voting for Biden…. I am not voting for a man. At this point, I am voting for one thing and one thing only. I am voting for the principles for which this country has stood since its founding.
I am voting for Constitutional government. I am voting for a strong and viable military. I am voting for a vibrant economy. I am voting for the right to keep and bear arms. I am voting for the freedom to worship. I am voting for a national recognition of the founding of our nation on Biblical principles.
I am voting for the ability for anyone to rise above their circumstances and become successful. I am voting for my children and grandchildren to be able to choose their own path in life, including how and where their children are educated.
I am voting for our borders to be open to everyone who enters under our law and closed to everyone who would circumvent or ignore the law. I am voting for the Electoral College to remain in place, so that a few heavily populated liberal centers do not control the elections.
I am voting for a Supreme Court that interprets the Constitution rather than rewrites it. I am voting to teach history, with all its warts, not erase it or revise it. I am voting for the sanctity of life from conception to birth and after.

There are some things I am voting against.

  2. I’ll still be voting for Trump, but Biden did far better than many anticipated. He showed up for one. Two he was calm and collected most of the time, but did anyone else notice he almost seemed to answer before Wallace was done asking the questions? His responses were scripted. With the lack of integrity in the media today I wouldn’t be surprised if he already had the questions.

  3. The ‘moderation’ was the real failure of this debate. We can’t allow hyper-partisans to moderate.
But since hyper-partisans for moderator is the standard these days, just to balance out how Chris Wallace performed as moderator, I’d like to see Dan Bongino moderate the next debate. That should be fun to watch.
